Children & Youth Formation
Children already are spiritual beings, ready to receive the love and joy of a relationship with God. We do not call use the term “education” to describe our activities for children and youth because the word implies that we have teachers imparting knowledge to students. In our church community, we believe that we all are on a spiritual journey together, helping each other form as whole persons – body, mind, and spirit.
Family Sing!
On Sunday mornings, children and parents gather starting at 9:15 a.m. to sing simple songs, celebrate birthdays and generally get prepared to enter their formation classrooms at 9:30 a.m. Led by catechists and "dads with guitars."
