Music

The music program at St. Mary’s spans a broad range of repertory and styles. While grounded in the great sacred works of living composers and those who preceded us, St. Mary’s also embraces the music of other cultures beyond that of western civilization. In services of worship throughout the year one can hear a great variety of music from austere plainchant to a toe-tapping gospel anthem. Lusty congregational singing is a part of our tradition and all are enthusiastically encouraged to take part.

Parish Choir

The Parish Choir is comprised of singers from high school age through adults. This is the group that is responsible for the bulk of choral singing during worship. They sing for the 10 a.m. Sunday Choral Eucharist from September through Pentecost as well as additional services such as Lessons and Carols, Holy Week services and Easter Vigil.
