Outreach is an important part of life at St. Mary’s. As a relatively affluent congregation, we care deeply about reaching those less fortunate and back up that commitment with not only our money, but our personal time and energy. We try to form relationships with those we support. We also maintain a strong commitment, through action and financial resources, to the Diocese of Chicago and to the National Church.

$2000 Raised For Outreach Partners At Tricia Crisafulli's Book Signing

St. Mary's hosted a champagne reception and book signing on Friday June 4 for "COMEBACKS: Powerful Lessons from Leaders Who Endured Setbacks and Recaptured Success on Their Terms" (Jossey-Bass, 2010) by Andrea Redmond and Patricia Crisafulli. Over 40 people attended and received a free copy of "COMEBACKS". The free will offering held at the book signing to support St. Mary's Outreach raised nearly $2000.   read more »

2011 Mardi Gras Party Raises $20,000 for Community Outreach

St. Mary's Mardi Gras netted nearly $20,000! These proceeds will be used to help our Outreach Partners and others in need. All the proceeds will be distributed to groups outside St. Mary's. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event a huge success.

St Paul's Sunday Night Dinners

St.Mary's has joined with other Park Ridge churches and community organizations in helping furnish the weekly supper for those needing a warm meal at St. Paul of the Cross.   read more »

Treasure Chest

St. Mary’s Treasure Chest is a re-sale shop run by the women of St. Mary’s. The shop raises money to support both church charities and the work of our congregation. Generous gifts from the shop helped the church to pay off its mortgage and continue to help us improve our facility and give generously to charitable organizations. The Shop is open from September through June. The directors are Mary Redmann and Ellen Zurek.   read more »
