Children & Youth Formation

We believe that every child, from the cradle through high school, is a unique gift from God--having an innate spirituality. We believe that as part of the Body of Christ children are equal members of our congregation. We strive to provide an opportunity for young people to develop a relationship with God.

Christian Formation: New Year Begins September 9

  • All formation begins Sunday, September 9th at 9:30AM
  • Nursery will return to the down stairs location
  •  Atrium will be available for children 3-6 years old
  •  Second Graders to fifth graders will be in Classroom One
  • Our Youth Group will be having a party on Sunday, September 16th. Detail coming soon.

Summer Chapel

Children 6-10 years old are invitied to participate in our Summer Chapel. This will take place in Classroom 1 from 10am-10:30am throughout the summer.

The Nursery will be open at 9:30am for ages 5 and younger in Classroom 2.

Grades 2 - 5

What: 2nd-5th Grade Formation
Who: Second through 5th Graders
When: Most Sundays 9:30am-10:30am from September through May

Description: St. Mary’s welcomes the children between 2nd and 5th grade to grow in their relationship with God and each other.  We meet from September through May at 9:45am-10:30am. The curriculum we use is Seasons of the Spirit. Our focus is to teach our children’s God’s ways, God’s love, and how to share that with people.

Middle School Youth Group

What: Middle School Formation Who: 6th to 8th Grades
When: Every First and Third Sundays at 11:30am to 1:00pm between September and May

Description: Our children are invited to explore their faith through discussion and fellowship. During our time together, two adults guide the children through various themes, stories, peoples, and events from the Bible.
