Sunday Morning at St. Mary's

Welcome to St. Mary’s website!  We would be delighted to have you join us at church anytime.

We worship in person at 10:15 A.M. on Sunday mornings. Masks are optional.

Our Sunday service follows an order of worship known as the liturgy. The service is rooted in historic forms and uses long cherished prayer language.  Our prayers and liturgies are taken from The Book of Common Prayer and from other sources approved for usage by the Episcopal Church.  The service includes readings from the Bible and a sermon (or homily) in which the preacher invites us to reflect on what the Scriptures mean for us today.

Music is also an important and beloved part of our Sunday experience. St. Mary’s has always valued and supported an excellent music program. Currently, our Parish Choir provides music for our service. To learn more about music at St. Mary’s, please click here.

The heart of our worship is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, or Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper, or the Mass, as it is also called. In the Eucharist, we are united to Jesus Christ and to one another in reception of the sacramental bread and wine, which we offer in remembrance of Christs’ love and sacrifice for us. All Christians are welcome to receive communion at St. Mary’s.

In addition to worship on Sunday mornings, we also offer programs for children, including a nursery for young children 3 years and under, Sunday School for children, and a Youth Group for Junior and Senior High students . During the summer our Sunday School is on hiatus.

Our parish coffee hour takes place after the 10:15 A.M. service.

We hope you will come and visit and join us for worship. If you would like to know more, or if you have questions, please reach out to us at Contact Us.
