Formation for Children and Youth

What's Happening in Family Ministry?

Programs and activities for children and youth are a central and regular part of our life at St. Mary's.

A nursery for infants and toddlers is available each Sunday, year-round, beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Sundays. The nursery is staffed by Safe Church trained workers.

Our Atrium (ages 3-6) and Fisherman class (ages 7-11) meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 A.M., September-May.

Our Youth Group for Middle and High School students meets each Sunday after church. Our youth participants spend part of the time exploring their faith and part of their time participating in service projects.

Have questions about our programs for children and youth? Contact Deb Kelliher, Director of Family and Faith Formation, at debkelliher@stmaryspr.org.

Adult Faith Formation

There are many opportunities throughout the year for adults to gather to learn and grow in their faith. Faith formation opportunities include book studies, bible studies, presentations on prayer and spirituality, and discussions about how our faith can guide us around major issues or concerns in our lives and in the world.

At certain times of year, such as in Lent, we offer special programs such as a Soup Supper and Discussion program.

Topics vary and include topics related to theology, scripture, liturgy, and the Episcopal/Anglican spiritual tradition.
